New-ish Car

I've been driving my 2000 Mercury Mountaineer for about.. I'd say four years, which is when I got my license. It's served its purpose well, but now i'm heading off to college which will be 30 minutes away. It's going to be a pain in the ass for gas, so I've been keeping my eyes peeled for something else to drive.

My parents recently found out that one of their close friends had a friend who owned a 1997 Volkswagen Cabrio. It hadn't been driven in 5 years and had been sitting in a pole barn the whole time, but otherwise it's in great condition, and only 500 dollars. We're picking it up within the next couple of days and my dad will work on it. He's been a mechanic for practically his whole life so it shouldn't even be a problem. Although, I will now have to learn stick shift. It shouldn't be too hard, right? Right?

I'm Probably late on this

Starcraft 2 patch 1.5 was released.. Sometime within the last few days. Normally I wouldn't really care because I suck at SC2 and I could care less about balance. One thing that's amazing about this though is that it has been dubbed the Arcade Patch. What this means is that it completely reworks how custom games work. I BELIEVE that they still have the popular map bullshit and all that that almost ruined the custom game scene, minus the 5 dota clones that are shit, but it adds in lobbies.

This is a pretty big change as it was one of the main reasons that people just didn't care about making maps in SC2, nobody would ever play them unless you advertised them specifically. New maps were tossed aside and never given a chance, and the Fun or Not crap that they tried still would play games within the first few pages of the popularity. A vast majority of my childhood was spent playing SC and WC3 custom games, so it's safe to say that i'm very excited about this. I hope that this paves the way for a new era of UMS gaming.

New Mouse

My new mouse just came in the mail today. New is a strong word though. It's a Logitech MX 518, you know, that one from 2005 or so that looked like it had bullets in it. Every one of my gamer friends has one so I figured why not, it's lasted them years and mine last me.. Months?

Sore

If anyone has been awake and had the TV on at 4 in the morning on just about any channel, then they'll know what I'm saying when I say fuck Insanity.

I've been doing it for awhile, but I hadn't done it for.. A good 2 weeks at least, since it's my girlfriend's brother's discs. They had been on vacation so i'm just getting back into it. I'm going  to be honest and say that i'm not active or athletic in any sense of the word. I'm not fat, per se , but i'm not skinny either. Most of the time I just sit at the computer or play just dance or some bullshit to work out. I hate the feeling afterwards, but at the same time when you get up in the morning and you can barely move, there's some weird feeling that just makes it worth it.

This still exists?

I'd all but forgotten about this blog. I decided to check and see if it's still here and... Well, it is! I might as well make use of it.

Lately, I've sort of grown out of League of Legends. I haven't quit though, i'm just a little burned out is all. I still play it from time to time with friends, but my new current love is DotA 2. I used to hate on it, but I just didn't want to take the time to learn a new game is all. What I have learned though, is it's complex as fuck. I mean really, you can't say that League of Legends is completely simplified. In an average skill bracket, league of legends is easier. I'm not sure about competitive play though, since I'm not nearly that high in ranked, but it's at least simpler. There's so many things you can just end up fucking up in DotA.

I'm going to keep this one short since this post really is just a spur of the moment sort of thing, so keep an eye out for me (maybe) making more posts. I want to do this, I really do. I do, I promise.

Finally Sold my TF2 hat!

I'd been trying to sell my Unusual Backbiter's Billycock with the Circling Hearts effect for.. I'd say a month now. I finally sold it for $50. Could I have held out for more? Yeah, probably. I'm just happy to be rid of it though honestly. I'd spent too much on that game for it to be free. At least now I can play The Old Republic with my horrible computer though!

Well, it's been awhile.

I'm really sorry about being gone for... I don't even WANT to check how long I've been gone for. Well, i'll try and update this more often. I've been busy, between college, a girlfriend, and work. Don't worry though, I just know you've all missed me.
